I enjoy what I do, and I make sure my clients do too – and it shows ! Fresh air, rosy cheeks and infectious smiles are your experience, and memories captured to enjoy again and again is what you’ll take away.
If your experience of photography has been production-line studios to someone else’s schedule, saying cheese till your cheeks ache and ‘free prints’ that aren‘t, you may be wondering – what’s so different about the creative family photography experience I offer? Put simply, this is bespoke photography – tailored to you. Your family is unique – so let’s make your session the same!
It’s about being happiest surrounded by those you love, and enjoying time as a family. It’s children wearing wellies and tutus in the summer sun, and picnics in the rain. It’s relaxing at home, rediscovering a favourite place, or exploring new paths. It’s about you taking time out, stepping back and taking a breath of fresh air – together.
After our time together I’ll take care to select the very best images for your session gallery, and present them to you to view and order, in the comfort of the home surroundings you’ll be bringing them to.
I’m never happier than when families display the images we created together in their homes and because of this I offer competitively priced yet luxurious prints and products to bring your memories home. There’s no hard sell, and no minimum spend. It’s about helping you to share the images you love as widely as you can.
To make sure I have enough time to give you the best experience before, during and after your session, I limit my availability to a few days each month, normally at weekends. I work all year round but we will always keep a weather eye out!
Little children get cold quickly so for sessions between December and March a session at home could be a little cosier, while evening weekday and weekend sessions are sometimes available in the summer – I love that golden light!
For newborn portraiture you are advised to book by the beginning of your third trimester; we’ll pencil you in for your due date and I’ll move mountains should baby have her own schedule! Other portraits are best booked at least four weeks in advance.
Being a creative family photographer is a leap beyond the ‘snap’ – it’s a moment captured, shared and enjoyed again and again. It’s a treasury of your journey as a family – let’s create yours!
